HOMELESS MINISTRY
Each individual is given a drawstring bag that contains the following items:
(1) Non-perishable food products;
(2) Bottled water and soft drinks;
(3) A pillow;
(4) Toothbrushes and toothpaste;
(5) Body shower wipes;
(6) Deodorant;
(7) A Bible;
(8) Bandages (small and large);
(9) Hand sanitizer; and
(10) Chapstick.
Individuals also receive clothing, blankets, and sleeping bags during the cold-weather months.
Ephphatha Ministries is based out of Fort Worth, Texas.
Most operations are within the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex.
As needs are identified, and contingent upon the resources available to the ministry, the ministry may travel to other cities and states to provide services to those in need.
While Ephphatha Ministries exists to love others as Christ does—and to spread His Gospels to those most in need—anyone the ministry comes across who is in need receives supplies and aid.
The ministry's stance is simple: "Jesus Christ loves us all unconditionally—so we will also love all others unconditionally."
When people do not wish to talk about Jesus or receive prayer—all volunteers are respectful of their wishes.
Complex problems require those who are not afraid to experience, evaluate, and identify creative, systematic, and logical solutions based on required needs.
Jesus Christ taught: "What you do—or do not do—for those considered to be the least of all—you did—or did not do—for Me." Matthew 25:31-46
Ephphatha Ministries believes no one is too lost to be found—every person is worthy of love and respect—and loving like Christ changes people's lives and the world.
Each volunteer approaches an individual in need with a smile while asking: "Would you like a bag?" The volunteer then states the bag includes food, water, a pillow, and other items.
Each individual is asked their name—and the volunteer introduces themselves also.
Volunteers then spend time talking with the individual, offering and providing any first aid care needed, and lastly asks if the individual would like prayer.
Each volunteer is focused on ensuring each person feels seen, respected, valued, and loved.
DEATH ROW MINISTRY
Ephphatha Ministries meets with individuals on death row to help them prepare for what is to come.
The ministry is dedicated to sharing Christ's Gospels, offering prayer, speaking with the individual regarding any fears or questions, and preparing the individual to return Home to our Father.
If the individual wishes—ministers also attend the execution and provide prayer, comfort, and other spiritual support to the individual as they close their eyes and return Home.
Sinners and the condemned are who Jesus Christ came to save.
Like the thief on the cross—even those who society has deemed unworthy to live—all are worthy of Christ's Love, Forgiveness, Mercy, Compassion, and Grace.
Jesus Christ taught: "There is more joy in Heaven over one sinner who repents—than 99 righteous people who need not repent." Luke 15:7
Ephphatha Ministries is committed to reaching those who walk through the valley of the shadow of death—and offering Christ's Salvation to all who desire to know Him.
Ephphatha Ministries travels to any state where individuals are on death row.
